Event Sales Manager, Corporate

Threes Brewing is a brewery, bar, and event space, located in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn, with satellite bars in Greenpoint and on Governors Island. A core focus of the company is to reconnect people to each other and themselves, creating memorable experiences that celebrate life. To this end, the Corporate Sales Manager will be exclusively focused on working with companies and other organizations to engage with our products and services tailored for them: events and beer.

About the Role:

The corporate sales channel has been a successful one for Threes Brewing since inception, however, this position is the first that will be singularly focused on working with this constituency. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, determined, and meticulously organized person to successfully prospect and close new corporate accounts, ranging from small companies to large enterprises. Responsibilities Include:
  • Evangelize Threes by highlighting our brand positioning, product quality, and core values
  • Identify new opportunities by finding prospects and evaluating their market position
  • Establish new customer connections with a defined target account list
  • Build relationships and meet customer needs to nurture repeat business
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and in email
  • Collaborate in the handoff of events from sales team to execution team
  • Respond to initial event inquiries with professionalism and timeliness
  • Schedule and execute site visits and tours with potential clients
  • Craft weekly update emails for event staffing and communication purposes
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, balancing the needs of Threes and partners
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards
  • Create post-mortems to collect feedback and improve our internal systems
  • Provide market feedback to the leadership team about industry trends, pricing, and other activities
  • Manage a pipeline of sales activity and deliver regular forecasting reports for pending deals
  • Warm, friendly, and positive
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and relationship-building acumen
  • Self-starter, inquisitive and comfortable with collaborating with customers and co-workers
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and event planning
  • Must be meticulously organized with outstanding time management skills
  • Exceptional team player with a passion for the craft beer and/or hospitality industries
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Intermediate computer skills, specifically working with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Experience with Tripleseat or other CRM software
  • Experience with sales data writing, reporting, and analysis
