Threes Brewing is a brewery, bar, shop and event space, with locations in Gowanus, Greenpoint, Governors Island, Moynihan Train Hall and Huntington, Long Island.

The Role

Threes Brewing Greenpoint operates as a restaurant in partnership with Greenpoint Fish & Lobster and the Food Runner is an essential part of the service team, embodying the link between front of house and back of house through their work bringing food to guests, clearing and resetting tables, communicating menu changes, and assisting servers in getting the customers what they need. As part of the Threes Brewing + Greenpoint Fish team, food runners are expected to have a pronounced interest in hospitality, a love of customer service, and manifest interest in learning about and promoting the full suite of products and programming on offer. They are responsible for keeping the flow of service as smooth as possible by assisting with any task at hand, and they support the entire team through their work.

Responsibilities include

  • Representing the brewery and restaurant with professionalism, courtesy, and respect
  • Setting up and breaking down food runner station in a organized fashion
  • Checking completed dishes against tickets to ensure accuracy
  • Delivering food items and beverages in a timely manner
  • Anticipating guests needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency
  • Clearing dirty plates, glassware and items off table throughout the guest experience
  • Wiping down and resetting tables
  • Helping bring bus bins and dirty silverware to dish pit
  • Supporting bar staff as needed, including running glassware through bar dishwasher throughout service
  • Assisting event managers and staff when events are scheduled
  • Moving kegs and other inventory throughout the location as needed

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
