Private Events Manager

The Role

Threes is hiring a Private Events Manager who will be exclusively focused on creating and cultivating opportunities for our patrons to engage with our products and services through events, via the sale and execution of private parties.

The Private Events Manager at Threes Brewing supports the events department across all Threes venues as well as offsite and online. The Private Events Manager is a member of the events team and, more broadly, the Hospitality department, and reports directly to the Events Director.

Sales

  • Engaging prospective clients through inbound leads and outbound lead generation initiatives
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with professionalism and timeliness, prioritizing needs of Threes and our customers gracefully
  • Direct point of contact for all queries regarding private events
  • Ensure all inbound inquiries from prospects receive a response within 1 business day
  • Perform site visits with potential clients across locations
  • Design proposals that are crafted to meet client’s goals and budgetary constraints, while mapping to internal service parameters and financial requirements
  • Manage deposit payments, confirmation of event sales, and communication of booked events with other Events team, Hospitality Team, and catering partners
  • Finalize billing and payment for private events

Operations

  • Define what the customer experience looks and feels like at owned & operated properties and offsite
  • Work with marketing/hospitality leads to promote and deliver the Threes experience
  • Work with VP Hospitality to maintain food partner relationships as well as calendar availability for public events
  • Work with neighboring organizations, corporate partners, and cultural institutions to introduce new audiences to Threes Brewing

  • Self-starter, inquisitive and comfortable collaborating with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Strong computer skills a plus, including working with Tripleseat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Apps

Sales

  • Create and administer the sales approach, defining customer communication and interaction
  • Build relationships with corporate clients for new and repeat business
  • Ensure all inbound inquiries receive a timely response and that all proposals are crafted to meet client’s goals and budgetary constraints while mapping to internal service parameters
  • Maintain and deliver regular pipeline reports monitoring goals progress

Execution

  • Craft proper systems between sales and floor staff to ensure a smooth customer handoff and event execution
  • Work with events, FOH team and clients to collect feedback and improve our internal systems
  • Liaise with GM for scheduling and staffing requirements and budgets Maintain internal organization with all relevant components

Location & Hours

  • Generally office based in Gowanus, Brooklyn, works from other Threes Brewing locations as needed and remote as appropriate
  • Full time regular business hours (Mon-Fri) with occasional evenings and weekends

A Qualified Candidate For This Role Will Have

  • 5-7 years in an event management or upper management role Experience in the hospitality industry, including food and beverage operations, management, event sales and execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship-building acumen
