Private Events Manager

Threes Brewing is hiring a Private Events Manager to focus on the sale and execution of private parties. Our Private Events Manager supports the events department across all our venues, offsite, and online. The Private Events Manager reports directly to the Events Director.

Goals of the Private Events Manager

  • Identify potential new clients and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Provide excellent hospitality to clients from the moment of initial inquiry through the seamless execution of their event
  • Determine event viability, and create and implement products and services that satisfy client requests and department goals
  • Manage a team of service members during events to deliver on client expectations

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities by finding and engaging prospective clients
  • Build relationships and meet customer needs to nurture repeat business
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with professionalism and timeliness, prioritizing needs of Threes and our customers gracefully
  • Direct point of contact for all queries regarding private events or partnerships
  • Ensure all inbound inquiries from prospects receive a response within 1 business day
  • Host site visits with potential clients
  • Design proposals that are crafted to meet each client’s goals and budgetary constraints, while mapping to internal service parameters
  • Craft weekly update emails for event staffing and other needs as necessary
  • Ensure events staff has proper training and guidance to deliver excellent service to guests and effectively represent the Threes Brewing brand
  • Supervise event-focused service staff as they attend to all guest needs during events, ensuring excellent service and hospitality
  • Communicate clear and relevant information between events team and other departments
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle for social and corporate experiences through private events onsite, offsite and virtually
  • Maintain use of internal event systems and materials with all relevant components (economics, menu, decoration, floor plans, payment, etc.)
  • Ensure the events execution team has the tools and information necessary to fulfill commitments to clients (prep documents, instructions, etc.)
  • Conduct post-mortems with service team and clients to collect feedback and improve our internal systems
  • Collect feedback for all program details including negotiating and executing contracts, confirming menus, agreeing on décor and floor plans, collating post event follow-up
  • Integrate feedback into systems and protocols for future use
  • Maintain and deliver weekly pipeline reports for deals both pending and closed

Qualities of the right candidate

  • Warm, friendly, hospitable demeanor
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, including food and beverage operations, management, event sales and execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and relationship-building acumen
  • Can-do, team player attitude, no task is too big or too small
  • Meticulously organized with outstanding time management skills
  • Self-starter, inquisitive and comfortable collaborating with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Strong computer skills, including working with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Creative Suite
