The Position

As the Retail Shop Assistant & Delivery Driver - you’ll work out of our Hutington, Long Island location and your responsibilities will include:

Retail

• Receive and inventory deliveries
• Stock and maintain product inventory on store shelves, including merchandise and snacks
• Organize the space and the walk-in and keep it all tidy
• End of service clean-down of Shop, including sweeping/mopping
• Prepare orders and deliveries for easy fulfillment
• Support GM at the customer service counter
• Barback when applicable, including washing/stocking glassware, clearing and cleaning tables, and assisting with simple on-premise service (on hold until spring/summer 2021)

Local Delivery

• Assist in print, packing, and storing orders scheduled for local delivery
• Deliver orders in the Huntington and surrounding areas
• Offer friendly customer service upon delivering beer to our patrons
• Communicate requests or questions from customers back to HQ

Job Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle
• A mobile phone capable of taking and making calls, sending text messages, use of apps, and navigation
• Comfort with technology including Google Sheets and tools
• A positive attitude, initiative, organizational skills, ability to balance multiple tasks
• Excellent customer services skills and an admiration for great service
• An interest in or passion for beer!
