IT WAS WRITTEN It wouldn’t have been hard to predict the continued expansion of our Czech Lager portfolio. Following Yore, Lifeworld, Indelible, and The World We Live In, comes Foretold: a malt-driven, medium-bodied lager with a moderately spicy hop presence and a soft, round creaminess.
This Polotmavý Ležák (meaning "Half Dark" in Czech) is an appropriate release for the tail end of winter, accompanying the promise of warmer weather and more daylight hours. A clean fermentation profile and a clean hop bitterness make this 13 Plato Czech Amber Lager balanced on the palate, seemingly contradicting its darker shade. Light, fruity yeast character shines through alongside subtle plum notes that bridge malt and hops, bringing the total package together.
