Now this was a treat! I enjoy a good Imperial without the Barrel aging whether it is Bourbon, Rye or Whiskey sometimes you want the base beer and boy howdy is this a Great base. I gave this a 4.75 on Untapped and it is reminiscent of an old favorite of mine, Avery The Czar.

Solid stout. A little too safe actually. Good entry point into stouts in general. Not too creative here with the notes. Mild notes but delicious all the same. Can’t go wrong with this one.
