TERRA FIRMA Stepping outside of our comfort zone and finding our edge are among the reasons why we collaborate with other breweries. Landbier (meaning "beer of the land") are lagers brewed with locally-sourced ingredients. They showcase terroir, highlighting flavors and aromas that local malts have to offer. The idea to incorporate botanicals into our first Landbier sparked after we learned about brewing with foraged ingredients from Brett Schweigert, Head Brewer of Odd Colony.
Noble hops possess beautiful floral characteristics, and are fit to be paired with a flower of a similar flavor profile. Enter Elderflower, whose elegant, soft presence made it a prime candidate for this collaboration. To further push the edge, we added in New York State Pilsner Malt and New York State Wheat. Soft, flavorful, and crisp, this beer is a wonderful celebration of what the fruit of our region can yield.
